Madi Grimes, President
Madi has experience both in performing and non-profit management. She was drawn to supporting Orpheus Project with her time and talent because of the organization’s deep commitment to create art that explores a range of historic and contemporary works for a multitude of audiences.
Derrick Grimes, Vice-President
Derrick enjoys artistic performance in his own spare time and is pleased to sit on the Orpheus Project board in an effort to give back to the musical community that has supported him for so long.
Ceann Murphy, Treasurer
Ceann is a bassist who has performed with the Orpheus Project and many other local performing arts and musical groups over the years. Professionally, she has worked in the non-profit sector for 20 years and is delighted to serve on the Orpheus Project board.
Emily Kane, Secretary
Emily Kane came to Alaska in 1993 to begin her professional life as a naturopathic family doctor. Her first career was in performing arts, in Paris, Washington DC and NYC where she worked with emerging artists, mostly in theatre and music.
Cindee Brown-Mills has served on many boards throughout Juneau and is excited to be a part of the Orpheus Project. By day, she is the Chief Executive Officer of a children’s behavioral health organization and by night she is a wife and mother of two beautiful girls. She is a member Vox Borealis and you may have also seen her is some Orpheus Project productions as Daemon #1, Tree #3, or in her starring role as lead chicken.
Alisha loves the arts and has been dancing and performing since a young age. She has been involved in multiple Orpheus Project productions, which drew her to the Board, and hopes to offer her experience to help shape its future.
Lanie is a professional artist and lover of the arts. She has been a theater nerd most of her life and is currently involved in the local dance community. Lanie is new to the Orpheus Project and performed in her first Orpheus Project production, Alcina, in February, 2020. She is excited to bring her artistic knowledge and experience to the Board.
William Todd Hunt, Artistic Director
Mr Hunt has been the Artistic Director of Orpheus Project since the 2007/2008 season. He loves the opportunity to create great art with relevance through community engagement and diverse programming.
